Historian, nerd, dog mom – in no particular order.
I explore the edges of science – both theoretical and material. I aim to strike at the heart of the intersection of history and philosophy of science. I love all things weird and wonderful. I believe in the continuous complication of our understanding of ways of knowing. I am interested in how the American public understands science, and its relationship to science.
So, I work on UFOs.* Obviously.
I am passionate about teaching.
*My dissertation explores thirty years of UFO investigations in America, as they were undertaken by the United States Air Force and professional establishment scientists between 1947 and 1977.
